DII Telecommunications will coordinate with Fairpoint Communications and/or our State Telecommunications Specialists to plan and execute requests involving moving, adding, changing or disconnecting (MACD) telephone lines for state agencies and departments and some quasi-governmental organizations.

If your organization is planning a move to a new building, Telecommunications will need to request a site readiness review with Fairpoint as early as possible. In some situations, a move will need to be delayed in order to install the necessary hardware with Fairpoint before service can be installed at the new location. Planning is essential. DII will typically work with Building and General Services Department (BGS) and your department's Business Manager to review the project.
