DII’s server monitoring service utilizes Microsoft’s System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) to watch our primary domain servers and alert us when problems arise. SCOM is a very powerful monitoring tool that can give detailed application-specific alerts and reports.

In addition to SCOM, DII also uses Solar Winds for system monitoring and threshold alerting for systems that are not within SCOM’s domain boundary.Departments or agencies who would like to learn more about DII’s monitoring services are encouraged to contact Ron Petty at 828-3774.
