What is this Service?

DII provides IBM mainframe hosting services to the State of Vermont agencies.  The mainframe hosts system tools for use by developers to create applications. The IBM zEnterprise platform is a high performance, high availability, and secured computing environment for large-scale applications.

The zEnterprise system supports many mission critical applications for State of Vermont agencies including the Department for Children and Families, Department of Transportation, Department of Motor Vehicles, and others.

What is Included?

Key Standard Features

The current zEnterprise system is a model IBM z114 2818-M01 processor running z/OS operating system.  Software products residing on the zEnterprise system includes Adabas/Natural, EntireX CICS, VSAM, SAS, DB2 for z/OS, and others supporting production, test and development environments.

DII Technical Support Services offers a full range of information support through planning, evaluation, installation, tailoring, monitoring, diagnosis, maintenance, problem solving, training, security, and administration of system control and third party programs.  We also provide data base and data storage management services.
