ADS offers two services that allow state staff to manage content online. For document management and records storage the SharePoint Service is available this is primarily used for sharing files with other state staff and vendors involved in a specific project but has many other potential uses as well. For general Websites there is the Web Portal Program. This program allows any state or quasi-state entity (boards, councils, etc.) to have a Website hosted in a secure facility with continuity of operations and disaster recovery features at no additional cost.

Document Collaboration is provided by our SharePoint service. SharePoint is a web-based tool for sharing information and documents with others. It provides a central storage and collaboration space for documents, information, and ideas. It securely facilitates sharing of documents between state agencies and external entities.
Web Content Management System
Web hosting is available through ADS for all state and quasi-state entities, including boards and councils via the Web Content Management System (WCMS) with no direct cost. This is possible because the WCMS is a product of the Web Portal Project, a self-funded project to promote eGovernment in Vermont.
