Paul Pratt

Paul Pratt is the Deputy Director of the State of Vermont’s Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) and an IT Portfolio Manager. Paul’s portfolio is the Agency of Human Services (AHS). Paul views his job as helping the departments he supports to groom the initiatives they are considering, guiding current and pipeline IT projects, and interceding when problems occur. He supervises and manages the day to day activities of the business analysts and project managers assigned to his portfolio.

Before joining the State, Paul’s job required extensive travel, taking him to 45 of the 50 states and around the world to anywhere the US military had an installation.

Paul particularly enjoys working for human services, as it allows him to make positive contributions to the Vermont community and the work/family balance that the State fosters as an employer. He truly enjoys getting to put what he’s learned to use at work every day.

Paul’s words to live by:
“Control what you can control and don’t worry about the rest.”

Outside of work, Paul’s cup overflows with all the typical activities of raising two kids with his wife, Laura. The family spends as much time as they can at their hobby farm in the Adirondacks.
